A new year brings a new Hyundai Tucson—and it might just be the best one yet. The 2018 Hyundai Tucson has undergone a number of changes, helping it boast the highest monthly sales the model has enjoyed in the company’s history.
For the 2018 model year, some changes include the addition of heated front seats to the SEL trim and above; a standard 7-inch color touchscreen infotainment system on the SEL trims; and SiriusXM® Radio and HD Radio® are both now available beginning with the SEL trim. Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are also now available with the 7-inch color touchscreen option.
The brand has also modified the trim levels. While the SE is still the base model, the SE Popular Equipment package has replaced the SEL trim, offering consumers the addition of the 7-inch audio display system with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. The SE Plus has become the SEL Plus, going along with the model’s new nomenclature. The Value and Limited trims remain unchanged for the 2018 model year, however the Eco and Night trims have been discontinued.
